Rules for Submitting to the Wishlist

Sometimes your suggestions may not make it through to the wishlist, I will moderate for the following reasons:

• The new wish is a duplicate or too similar to another wish. Please read through the whole wishlist to make sure your suggestion hasn't already been put forward. Having duplicates 'dilutes' the votes.
• The new wish is a bug fix request - please escalate bug reports through the appropriate channel, either through a forum post or support request. Bug fixes belong on a separate high priority track.
• Requests for site specific/partner specific functionality (i.e custom development work) will probably not make it onto the wishlist. Your suggestion needs to be general enough that it can benefit the whole community when implemented.

Setting Your Scheduling Expectations

When suggestions make it onto the 'Top 40' they will have their status set as I move them into the engineering queue for design and implementation. Here's what the different statuses mean:

• Short Term 0-3 months- The features or enhancements requested are already deep in the engineering pipeline, our engineers are building this as you read. Because they're currently being worked on we can be pretty sure that these will be released within the next 3 months after they've undergone thorough testing and QA and the final revisions are made.
• Medium Term 3-6 months-These features are high on the priority queue as the 'next big project' that our engineers will be working on. Even though we have releases every month, large components that require a high degree of planning, design and sometimes architecture refactoring can take up to 6 months to move from being a 'wish' to being a fully tested feature ready for release.
• Long Term 6-12 months - These features are lower on the priority queue but still 'on the radar'. They are features that follow once the Medium Term features are complete.
• Not-on-the-roadmap 12 months+ - All of the features here are at least 12 months away from release so they are not considered to be on the roadmap.
