Our clients love that it is an integrated solution. One login, one platform to be trained on, one company to go to for help. BC also has the right mix of power and flexibility. Our clients' businesses are always changing - having a system in place to handle the problems of today, but also the needs of the future.
We can build more robust sites faster. That impacts both cost and value. We can roll out powerful sites for lower budgets, but also keep enough value to clear a nice profit as an agency. A lot of this comes down to not needing to do server-side code. There is no bottle neck in production and our entire team can get in and do what's needed on a site.
The feature set combined with it being a hosted solution provide a big competitive advantage. BC is constantly evolving and all of our clients get those updates - not just the ones we choose. Adobe also handles security updates, this is a huge plus compared to other open source solutions.
One feature that is not talked about enough is the "replicate site" feature in BC. With the click of a single button you can completely copy an entire BC website in less than a minute. This opens the opportunity to target franchise and niche verticals in ways other web platforms can't fathom.
Our journey to master Adobe Business Catalyst eventually expanded in to us launching our own community site dedicated to the platform. This site runs on BC and is the home of hundreds of tutorials and an ever expanding catalog of pre-built BC templates.
BC urus takes BC's Web Apps feature to new levels - powering our tutorials engine. We also use secure zones to control our premium content subscriptions and billing. We also rely on BC's email marketing system to communicate with our ever expanding list of BC Partners around the world.
Breckenridge Brewery is a Colorado craft brewery. Not only do they brew amazing beer, but they have about a dozen unique restaurant concepts that break the mold of the average pub. They needed an Online Business to tell the complete story of their brewery so their fans could get engaged with the brand.
The main brewery site uses almost every BC feature: content management, blogging, online store, email marketing, customer database, and definintely reporting. The day we turned their site on they had over a thousand unique visitors hit the site – since BC is scalable, hosted solution, the platform didn't even flinch.
Spavia Day Spa
Spavia is a multi-location spa franchise that is headquartered in Denver, Colorado. They have an aggressive franchise growth strategy and needed a solid Online Business to back that up.
We used Web Apps, Dynamic Menus, CRM with Web Forms, and of course Email Marketing. We also used the ability for BC to host multiple domains to run both their consumer and franchise sites from one implementation - which was a cost savings compared to other platfroms.
