the new 'Blog Post Details' Layout. This is due to blog posts being given 2 separate layouts now:&lt;br /&gt;

    &lt;li&gt;'Blog Post List' determines how the blog post will be rendered when it is listed on the blog itself with the other blog posts that precede it. You can use the 'blogpostbodypreview' tag to show the first paragraph of each post only to show a summary view of your blog.&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;'Blog Post Detail' determines how the blog post will be rendered when a visitor to your blog clicks through on the title in the list view to view the whole post in the detailed view. &lt;/li&gt;

The main advantage of this is that
you can now publish different code in the list and detail layout,
thereby customizing the two differently to integrate social media code in the detailed post view. We've also fixed detailed posts so now
the post title (instead of the blog title) is shown in the browser

To enable this feature you'll need to follow these steps:

    &lt;li&gt;In the Admin Console, choose Admin &amp;gt; Google/Bing/Yahoo Optimization.&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;On the Search Engine Optimization page that appears, scroll down and click the option to Enable SEO friendly URLs.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ol&gt;
After you enable the SEO friendly URL Feature the system will automatically rewrite all the URLs for your catalogs and
products so they become easier for both humans and search engines to
read. Products in an online store will use a URL structured in this
format:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;pre class="pre"&gt;"http://www.domain.com/catalog/sub-catalog/product-name"&lt;/pre&gt;
Going forward from this point all new products and catalogs that you add will have SEO-friendly URLs created following these steps:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;ol&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;The system will convert the product or catalog name into lowercase characters&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;The system will change any spaces and special characters, such as ampersands (&amp;amp;) and percent signs (%), are changed into dashes (-).&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;If multiple folders, catalogs or products use duplicate names, the resulting URLs are checked for duplicates; as needed, the system appends a numerical suffix of to create a unique URL&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ol&gt;
When you edit the products and catalogs you will be able to manually edit their URLs in the detailed view if the generated URLs are insufficient for your needs. Please note that due to these changes in Product and Catalog URLs the Product import template has been changed so you will need to export your product list again or download the new template before you edit your products offline and upload afterward.

Where we used to measure site search result generation in seconds, we are now measuring in milliseconds in the latest performance tests. Even on large sites, search results are being returned almost instantaneously for commonly occurring keywords.

    &lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Search Terms Highlighted in Results: &lt;/strong&gt;in the text blurb displayed below the result link the search will now display the text fragment that surrounds the search terms to give a better context for the result. The search terms themselves will be highlighted. In the past the system would display the first paragraph of the item description.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This was a seamless upgrade, you do not have to make any modifications to your site to take advantage of the upgraded site search. If you didn't have site search on your site before, now would be great time to take advantage of the new version.     &lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Setup Domain Names&lt;/strong&gt; - as with the previous DNS manager this allows you to add your own domain names choose whether you want to host your Domain name externally or re-delegate to your site.&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Forward Domains&lt;/strong&gt; - Any of the domains and sub-domains that you setup on your site can be forwarded to other domains that are hosted on your site. You are now able to setup your www records to forward to your non-www records for your domains to solve canonical domain issues and stop search engines treating "http://domain.com" and "http://www.domain.com" as two different sites.&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Setup A records&lt;/strong&gt; - create subdomains for your site and choose the start page for them. You'll also be able to choose the country and culture which will help in building multi-lingual sites with different subdomains.
    &lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Setup CNAME records &lt;/strong&gt;- will give you the ability to add any number of sub-domains and point them to externally hosted websites and services, or you can point them to another A record that you've created on your site&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;
    &lt;strong&gt;Setup MX Records &lt;/strong&gt;- setting up your sites to use an externally hosted mail service is a breeze now because you have the option to add your own MX records.

    &lt;strong&gt;Setup Advanced records &lt;/strong&gt;- you can create TXT, SPF, SRV or AAAA records just by choosing a name, a TTL and entering in your record data.

    &lt;li&gt;Credit Card details will be sent to nominated addresses via email in an encrypted PDF file.&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;These emails will be like bank checks or cash; you must not lose or delete them before processing the card details, otherwise the information is lost.&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;You need to provide us with a unique passphrase to lock your PDFs. This is like a bank card's PIN number.&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;You will be able to provide multiple email addresses on which to receive payment details. It will be prudent to name at least a primary and secondary email account, possibly with different mail &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;For Offline Processing to continue functioning, these details must be entered into the system prior to &lt;strong&gt;Wednesday 19 August, 2009&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;For Users of Authorize.net and eWay - Action Required ASAP.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

This outage did *not* affect any sites hosted in our North American and European data centers. Due to this interruption, the operation of some Australian sites was interrupted and quickly restored as we failed over to our backup systems. However during this time some customers' access to the Administration interface of their websites was affected for a longer period, although their websites continued to operate as normal. This the first power outage that Primus Telecom have experienced in the last 5.5 years. It was caused by their monthly test of their UPS systems (uninterruptable power supplies). During the test, Primus failed over to their UPS successfully but when they switched back to main power, some power in data center was lost. We will review all our procedures in the coming days to ensure we minimize impact on customers sites should a similar outage occur in the future. &lt;/p&gt;

For example if you are selling a Sofa and you'd like the customer to choose the stitching style, color and leather type, then you would use product attributes. Such attributes may not necessarily represent different products, but are important to the final product being purchased. The improvements we've made in this area include:

&lt;li&gt;Ability to set a price for each attribute. This means in addition to the product price, each attribute can have its own price which gets added to the product price if selected&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ability to display attributes as checkboxes (allows for multiple attributes to be selected), radio list and drop down. Previously you could only display them in drop down format&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ability to specify an image for each attribute&lt;/li&gt;

In the longer term we will also allow attributes to be displayed in textbox format. This will come in handy if you are selling products such as curtains. For example if you sell curtains by the meter, the customer will be able to enter the number of meters and have that multiplied by the attribute price to calculate the total price of that product.
